Product Care & Help Guide

Heavy-duty clothes rails, garment racks, and open wardrobes are designed to keep your clothing organized and accessible. To maintain structural balance, smooth rolling, and powder-coated finishes, please follow our maintenance guidelines below:

1. Assembly & Bolt Tightening

  • Initial Assembly: Finger-tighten all frame screws loosely during initial assembly to align upright bars and cross-rails easily, then tighten all bolts firmly using the provided Allen key. Avoid using heavy power drills which may cross-thread screw joints.
  • Periodic Check-Ups: With daily movement and hanging weight, frame bolts can naturally settle. We recommend checking and gently retightening structural screws after the first month of use, and once every six months thereafter.

2. Weight Distribution & Caster Wheel Care

  • Balanced Hanging: Distribute heavy winter coats, jackets, and long dresses evenly along the hanging rail rather than clustering all weight on one side.
  • Wheel Cleaning: If rolling across carpets or floorboards, periodically inspect caster wheel axles to clear tangled threads, pet hair, or lint that may impede smooth 360-degree rotation. Always engage wheel brake locks when the rack is parked.

3. Frame Cleaning & Dusting

  • Powder-Coated Steel: Wipe metal tubing and wire shelves clean using a soft microfibre cloth dampened with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid. Avoid abrasive scouring pads or harsh caustic cleaners that may scratch protective paintwork.
  • Drawer Storage: For fabric or non-woven drawer inserts, spot clean with a damp sponge and allow to air dry completely.
